1. General Application
1.1 These promotional terms and conditions (“Promotional Terms”) apply to the “20% Off All Custom Prescription Orthotics” campaign (the “Promotion”) run by AOL Footcare Centre Pty Ltd trading as Dr Abbie Clinics (“the Clinic”).
1.2 These Promotional Terms are an addendum to, and must be read in conjunction with, the overarching Dr Abbie Clinics Terms and Conditions. By participating in this Promotion, patients agree to both sets of terms.
2. Promotional Period
2.1 The Promotion commences at 8:00 AM (AEDT) on Wednesday, 8th April 2026 and strictly concludes at 5:00 PM (AEST) on Sunday, 10th May 2026 (“Promotional Period”).
2.2 To be eligible for the discount, the patient must present the promotional email, attend their Najjarine Biomechanical Assessment (NBA) or reassessment, AND place the formal order for their orthotics within the Promotional Period. Appointments booked during the Promotional Period for dates falling after 30th April 2026 will not qualify for the discount.
3. The Offer & Eligibility
3.1 Eligible patients will receive a twenty per cent (20%) discount applied strictly to the original lab price of prescribed custom prescription orthotic devices.
3.2 The offer is available to both new and existing patients across all Dr Abbie Clinics locations.
3.3 The prescription of orthotics is a clinical decision. The 20% discount is contingent upon the treating podiatrist determining that orthotics are clinically necessary and appropriate for the patient following an Najjarine Biomechanical Assessment (NBA).
4. Strict Exclusions
4.1 Devices Only: The 20% discount applies solely to the physical custom prescription orthotic devices.
4.2 Service Exclusions: The discount does not apply to the cost of the initial consultation, the Najjarine Biomechanical Assessment (NBA), review appointments, casting fees, or any other professional services, treatments (e.g., Shockwave Therapy, Dry Needling), or products sold by the Clinic.
4.3 No Combinations: This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, discount, concession rate, or voucher.
4.4 Retrospective Application: The discount cannot be applied retrospectively to orthotics ordered, invoiced, or paid for prior to 1st April 2026.
5. Private Health Insurance & Billing
5.1 Patients intending to claim their orthotics through a Private Health Fund will have the 20% discount applied to the gross original lab price upfront.
5.2 The Clinic makes no representation or guarantee regarding a patient’s eligibility for private health fund rebates, the specific rebate amount, or annual limits. Any “gap” payment remaining after the health fund rebate is applied is the sole and absolute responsibility of the patient.
5.3 Full payment (or full payment of the gap) is required at the time the orthotic order is placed, as per Section 4.1 of the General Terms and Conditions.
6. Custom Manufacturing, Cancellations & Refunds
6.1 Bespoke Nature: Custom orthotics are bespoke, prescribed medical devices engineered specifically for the individual patient.
6.2 No Change of Mind: Once the clinical order is placed and manufacturing has commenced at the laboratory, the order cannot be cancelled, and the patient is liable for the full discounted cost of the device.
6.3 Statutory Rights: This clause does not exclude, restrict, or modify a patient’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as outlined in Section 8.1 of the General Terms.
7. Modification and Termination
7.1 Dr Abbie Clinics reserves the right to amend, extend, suspend, or terminate this Promotion at its sole discretion, at any time, without prior notice.
7.2 In the event of termination, the Clinic will honour the 20% discount for any patient who has already completed their assessment and paid for their orthotics prior to the termination date.
8. Governing Law
8.1 These Promotional Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales
